Jim Spiers Awarded Humanitarian Award

Congratulations to Safer 3 Water Safety Foundation President Jim Spiers for his recent winning of the United States Swim School Association Humanitarian Award.

Established in 2007, the humanitarian award is given only periodically and presented to individuals nominated by the membership, who provide outstanding service to the local community with relation to water safety, drowning prevention or aquatic education.

Mr. Spiers has been pivotal to the success of Safer 3 over the last 10 years. He is a consummate professional in all facets of instruction and teaching methods within the realm of swim and water safety. Jim is a renowned and highly prized water safety expert. He has had feature articles in the New York Times, as well as requests for TV and radio appearances/interviews (NPR and Martha Stewart Radio and numerous children's magazines). Jim has also presented around the globe on behalf of the USSSA and the World Aquatic Babies Congress.
